As many of you may have heard, Houston has officially passed its COVID-19 hospitalization threshold, causing many elective surgeries to be deferred or delayed. These delays will not affect booking your appointment or scheduling a procedure with Kaplan Sinus Relief.
Dr. Kaplan will continue to safely treat patients at Kaplan Sinus Relief. Since the pandemic began, we have safely and successfully treated hundreds of patients.
All of our sinus relief procedures are performed 100% in-office and do not involve trips to the hospital, meaning our procedures do not take up valuable beds or resources needed to treat COVID patients and or any others suffering from a medical emergency. In addition to standard safety protocol including mask wearing, frequent sanitization, and social distancing, Kaplan Sinus Relief is also taking additional steps to limit risk and reduce the chances of exposure, including the installation of Novaerus air dis-infectant systems in all of our patient rooms and surgery rooms. These devices have been shown to reduce the amount of SARS-CoV-2 (aka COVID-19) in the air by up to 99.99% in less than 15 minutes, and can help you rest easy while getting relief.
While the COVID-19 pandemic may not be gone the way we’d like it to be, relief is still an option. As a private practice, we’ll continue to see our patients through this critical time, performing all testing and treatments in the comfort and safety of our own practice.
